The bungalow offered fine views and a unique jungle vibe, capturing the essence of being immersed in nature. It felt romantic and cozy, perfect for couples looking for a getaway.
The trek to the resort included a 25-minute hike filled with unlit paths, rubbish, and broken debris. It reminded me of a gamble dodging monkeys and rocky beaches littered with glass. The banging bass from nearby parties rattled the walls until 2 AM, while the thin mattress coupled with the absence of air conditioning was nice. Outdoor bathrooms brought in unwelcome insects, and the lack of Wi-Fi in rooms was a notable disappointment, leaving us disconnected in more ways than one.

The jungle cabins are located overlooking Loh Dalam Bay were quite basic with an enclosed outdoor shower, mozzie net over the bed and a free gecko & mouse! Would describe them as rural with work in progress as more cabins are being built. The view & sunset is awesome & it is quiet due to the distance from the town, therefore escaping the loud, bombastic club scene. The resort is owned by The Phi Phi Inn located in the town. You must pay in cash here & wait to be escorted as I think the cabins would be impossible to find otherwise. The staff at The Phi Phi Inn will sort any problems quickly & efficiently and even organise for you luggage to be transfered.
This is not a resort yet! The 20 minute trek from the town is ardous along a jungle track & trecherous if it rains. There are very few signs & you will need a torch as at night most of the route is unlit and it is easy to get lost. Currently there are no facilities at the cabins. The description "villa" is not appropriate. There is nowhere to get breakfast or even buy drinking water at the resort. The beach is undeveloped. I didn't swim there & there was glass in the sand.

The hotel was simple, had excellent views and unique location right by the beach or the cosy restaurant. The room was perfect and quiet, included clean bathroom. The staff was really kind and very good all day long. The vibe here was quiet! Need to point that free Wi-Fi was ok, you can use it in public areas.

Consider kayaking to nearby Nui Bay instead of hiking. It's a fun and much easier way to explore.

we stayed there only for 8 hours. The sunset and Loh Dalal lights at the evening was the only good thing.
the bungalow was wooden, with spaces between woods and without wallpaper. Nightmare.

The resort is surrounded by the forest which makes one to feel like being in the nature. The villas are nice and have the shower outside. In the room is provided a mosquito net even if I did not have the mosquitos inside, only two coachroaches were living in the bath room but as the resort is in the middle of nature, we can not consider any insect or small animals ( as frogs or lizards) as bad signs. The resort is in quite place, you are looking for something not noice. Only little bit can be heard the music from the beach bars.
I have seen the previous comments about the steps as negative points, yes, that is the truth there are steps to claim up but at least is an exercise, well, of course not recommended to the disabled people. The beach is reachable within the walking distance, cca 10 min but on the return, if you want to stay later than 21.30h, there is no shuttle boat and need to walk in the dark. I was a sigle traveller ( woman), so I had to make sure to be in my villa before 22h, which was not quite interesting for me as there are many restaurants and bars to sit down. Noone came to clean my villa. The way I left it, I found it on my return in the evening. Well, no cleaning service, unless you request it, I guess. Furthermore, when I arrived, I went to the Phi Phi Inn Hotel, a sister hotel to Sunset bay, there I did a check in to Sunset Bay. The staff was not nice and was having a stony face, acting as a mummy :( It was strange for me, because in general, Thailand is called as Land of smiles.

No sandy beach, long way between village and hotel, difficult to reach at night since walkway unlighted, staff unfriedly and not at all corteous, no fridges in bungalows although advertised in internet, bedding dirty, towels only on request. Very disappointing stay!

Beautiful place surrounded by nature, with the jungle in the back and ocean in front. The bungalows are wooden, cozy, and clean, with fine views and private terraces. The staff is amazing and provides free boat transfer at check-in and check-out. Loved the sunset from the small restaurant!

The staff was veeeeeery helpful. The localization of the hotel was great. Houses in the middle of jungle with a stunning seaview.
After party in the city you have to go back to hotel thru a jungle by night... little creepy... during day the is a free boat fare ;D

This is the best place on Phiphi island for a romantic trip, bungalows are so tidy, cleany and beautiful, in the jungle with the view on mountains and see, you can approach the location with boat few times a day. When you will book there make sure you mention in exra wishes what time do you come, so they will pick you up from pier and organize you the boat in Phi Phi inn hotel, which has the same owner. Breakfast is included. It was the best time we spend in our trip! Just amazing

The amazing sunset views from the bungalow make this stay special.
The trek to the town can be quite a challenge, with some rugged paths along the way.

1) People are very very kind and friendly. We had a wonferful full-moon party at the last night with the staff and some Thai friends whom we knew in the afternoon. We even swam at that night. It was so cool!!! 2)The location is perfect for us. Whenever you are standing on the private balcony, we shall see the awesome view of sea, hill, bay, woods, boats and rocks. 3) You can rent a canoe there across the bay to monkey beach. It took us about 1 hour to get there. It was our first time getting on a canoe :-). So exited!!!
If you come back after 6 pm, you have to walk back yourself. Signs along the road are not very clear, we were even lost once. And there are few minutes you have to walk under the moonlight.

It's away from the main town, fairly quiet. Not recommend for party goers.
The long tail boat has to bring us across to the main town. If you are going to town or returning to the hotel late at night, you have to hike for about 20 minutes in the dark. Make sure to ask for the torch light. Although the resort is on the beach, you will need to walk through the rocks to get to the water. You will definitely need watershoe as the rocks are pretty slippery.
